Skyline

I liked both of these images of skylines, and more. Some I couldn't copy because they were apparently copywrited. I imagined this sort of trailing off into the ocean, on a skinny piece of land like perhaps Manhattan would look from a distance. It prompted the sentence, "I enjoy being up high, leaning against the decorative stone pillar edging of the walkway and looking out at the city lights on the horizon, where they seem to trial into the ocean, like liquid gold being poured into a massive drain."

Sometimes I like random words as well. Here are a few lately that have inspired me:

plague
barefoot
downpour
mist

The Alley

I like prompts. Particularly visual ones. I started this "journal" more for myself, so that I can keep a sort of record of visual images that have inspired my writing. But I'm happy to share.
